Founded in 1991, the Hispanic Museum of Nevada is dedicated to promoting artistic awareness, education about contributions, traditions, and resources of the diverse Hispanic cultures to enhance intercultural understanding among community members. The art, collections and events represent more than 21 Latin American and Caribbean countries. Many local groups utilize the museum for cultural celebrations and exhibits. Other museum activities include youth summer camps, the Las Vegas Latino Short Film Festival, the Memories in Art Senior and Artist Project, school field trips, lecture series and more.
