The Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve sits on approximately 100 acres and is home to thousands of migratory waterfowl and numerous resident desert birds including warblers, thrushes, flycatchers, sparrows, roadrunners, wood ducks, peregrine falcons, northern harriers, sharpshinned hawks, tundra swans, snow geese and many more. There are nine ponds available for birding, surrounded by both paved and soft walking paths.
