Liberace, the entertainer known to the world as “Mr. Showmanship,” opened The Liberace Museum in April 1979. For more than 30 years the museum exhibited his pianos, cars, spectacular costumes and an amazing array of antiques. Though the museum closed to the public in 2010, the Liberace Foundation for the Performing and Creative Arts proudly exhibits its priceless collection of artifacts throughout the Las Vegas metropolitan area. The collection has also been featured in TV shows, movies and music videos.
