Through diverse historic and prehistoric collections, the Nevada State Museum, Las Vegas, located at the Springs Preserve, presents the history of the entire state of Nevada including the state’s first documented dinosaur fossil, mineral specimens from Nevada’s world-famous mines, Paiute pottery and baskets, vintage hotel and casino artifacts and elaborate Las Vegas showgirl costumes.
