Housed inside the Searchlight Community Center, the Searchlight Historic Museum was established to report the history of one of Southern Nevada’s most fascinating boomtowns and its rich mining, ranching and railroad history.
The museum includes a recorded narration, a recreated assayer’s office and exhibits devoted to interesting personalities who once called Searchlight their home including Clara Bow, Edith Head, Louis Meyer, Lt. William Nellis and John Macready.
